Jeffrey has a longstanding career serving vulnerable and exploited people. He began his career working for non-profit organizations, including those helping abused children, victims of domestic violence, and the uninsured. After a decade in senior management, Jeffrey realized that employees are regularly subjected to illegal behavior by their employers. Now Jeffrey gets to stand up for those employees and make sure employers don’t get away with playing bully or violating the law.

Jeffrey’s extensive legal experience includes more than half a decade litigating landmark human rights cases, lawsuits brought on behalf of the people of California under Prop 65, and wage-and-hour class action and PAGA cases. He has helped recover millions of dollars in damages for people who experienced illegal behavior in the workplace.

Jeffrey attended the University of California, Irvine School of Law as member of one of the founding classes. He received Faculty Awards for top-of-class performance in Employment Law, Criminal Law, and Entertainment Law and Dean’s Awards for Administrative Law and Advanced Legal Analysis: Equal Protection. While in law school, he served as a Senior Editor and Governance Committee Member of the UC Irvine Law Review, was a finalist in the Experian/Jones Day Moot Competition, and externed for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in the chambers of the late-Honorable Stephen R. Reinhardt.

Prior to law school, Jeffrey earned his BA and MA in Theatre from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
